NBC, IndoorDirect Shop ‘Community’ To Diners
Not everyone is always in front of their laptops for work and play — sometimes they go out for lunch. That’s where NBC hopes to get some viewers to sample a special showing of its first-year show “Community.”
On Friday, April 23 at noon, in a deal with indoorDIRECT’s Restaurant Entertainment Network, NBC will send a special episode of the comedy into the biggest fast-food restaurants in the country: Wendy’s, Denny’s, Arby’s, Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, and McDonald’s. The screening is expected to target some 500,000 and 650,000 people.
The goal is to get consumers to sample the NBC show in a more comfortable environment.
