Glover spoke to Cinemablend at Comic-Con and stated that he really wants to do a Back to the Future episode, has an idea for it, but it isn’t well-formed. That resulted in the following exchange between co-star Gillian Jacobs and Glover.

Glover: It’s really hard to do. Time travel is already hard.
Jacobs: We can’t actually break the laws of physics.
Glover: We’ve never had actual magic on the show. Time travel is tricky. It would have to be some sort of, like, mistake. But a mistake big enough that it can sustain a whole episode, but also small enough that it doesn’t fuck up the rest of the world. So it’s hard. I had an idea, but it’s not well-formed.

Poor Annie will get “the talk” when Season 2 arrives this Thursday at 8/7c. And things will be fine… until a few scenes later, when they will be very not fine. You have never seen the fan hit so hard by so much.

Mystery Team Sword Club, ASSEMBLE! The Donald Glover for SPIDER-MAN campaign has officially begun. It all started when the idea of casting an African-American Spider-Man in the upcoming Marc Webb SPIDER-MAN reboot was purposed and Glover’s name was casually thrown into the ring. Soon, Glover (who most recently stared in the cult hit MYSTERY TEAM and stars on NBC’s Community) caught wind of the idea and it’s all snowballed from there.
Obviously pleased with the idea of playing Spider-Man (honestly what nerd wouldn’t be?) Glover went to work on getting the buzz out. The “hash-tag” #donald4spiderman was created and the subsequent re-tweet bomb dropped.

The mega-popular internet comedy sketch group Derrick Comedy present their first feature-length film, Mystery Team. Donald Glover of NBC’s Community wrote the film and stars as Jason, an earnest high school senior who, along with his pals Duncan (D.C. Pierson) and Charlie (Dominic Dierkes), have never seemed to grow up from their innocent days of tree houses and Hardy Boy-style mysteries. They even have supposed special abilities, like being masters of disguise or genius-level skills of deduction. Mostly, though, they just annoy Oakdale with their do-gooder meddling.

Five things TimeOut NY learned last night from Donald Glover (of NBC’s Community):

1. There is an unspoken code of conduct that comedians expect from audiences. Laughter is appreciated and welcome. Vomiting and crying, however, are not.
2. Anyone expecting to hear nonthreatening jokes from Glover’s lovable, earnest Community character for an hour was in for a crude, outspoken (and utterly hilarious) surprise.
3. A handy way to predict the direction a dialogue with your significant other is going to go: If a conversation begins with “What’d you mean by that?,” it’s not going to end with “Oh, now I know what you meant by that.”
4. Glover deserves a place in Lady Gaga’s cadre of eclectic visionaries.
5. No matter what anyone tells you, there’s no place in California that is like New York (least of all downtown Los Angeles, which is like something out of Mad Max).
