When the new comedy Community premieres on NBC on Sept. 17, it will be a major showcase for people from Northeast Ohio.

Behind the camera are native Clevelanders Joe and Anthony Russo (Welcome to Collinwood, Arrested Development), brothers who are executive producers and directors on the series. The cast includes East Cleveland-born University of Akron alum Yvette Nicole Brown.
